Our gallery is located in a cozy traditional Norwegian house. The outside has an old-style charm, but inside you’ll find a bright, modern space that shows off the artwork well. We’d love for you to stop by and enjoy this mix of classic and contemporary style.

Since the gallery opened its doors in 2016, our goal has been to create a vibrant space that brings art and creativity to our small island, enriching the cultural landscape of the Lofoten Islands. We aim to offer both locals and visitors an opportunity to experience and enjoy the artistic side of Skrova. By complementing the range of activities available here, we strive to foster a deeper appreciation for culture and creativity in our community.

Monica and Anders first crossed paths in the 1990s when Anders visited Lofoten. Their connection was instant, sparking a friendship rooted in their shared passion for art. Over the years, they collaborated on several projects, deepening their bond and creative energy. In 2016, after years of friendship and collaboration, they decided to establish their own artistic space in Skrova, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter together.
